This is a standup for leadership/management teams. You get the pulse of the team in 15mins, just like when you synchronise your phone. It's the consistency that matters, and what everyone puts into it. Try it and it will change your team's dynamic. Share a pic if you have implemented it! Hope this is helpful and remember to enJOY your growth!

Hi! Today I want to share with you on how to run a daily huddle:

  1. Schedule the 10-15mins huddle at an odd time

    1. eg. 9:09am, 11:11am, 4:52pm

    2. Always start on time, end on time, and don't wait for latecomers

  2. Have a huddle host or moderator

    1. Rotate the host frequently so that everyone knows how to run the huddle

  3. The agenda

    1. What's good: things you like or love about the team

    2. Last / Next 24hrs: what happened in the last 24hrs, and what's my priority for the next 24hrs

    3. S(t)uck: what am I stuck on, or what sucks

  4. If meeting physically, huddle together, standing in a circle

    1. Should be able to see and hear each other without shouting

    2. No sitting or leaning against the wall so as to keep the energy high

    3. For remote teams, you can try using Zoom or Skype

  5. Do not cross-talk, comment, or discuss solutions during the huddle

    1. The objective is simply to synchronise information quickly
